Best Sweet Yeast Rolls
I took the easy way out for baking and used a muffin tin. These could have been spectacular looking had I brushed them with butter. I just have to say, they needed nothing else. The aroma was fabulous, the texture perfect and these are sweet and light, what more could you ask for! A mixture of butter, cinnamon and sugar to spread on. We ate them before that even happened. This recipe is a keeper.
We used to have a Restaurant here called Duffy's and went there often.
They served buckets of roasted peanuts in the shells and they were all over the floors in there.
Served with out meals were these big soft fluffy rolls that came with a bowl of butter flavored with cinnamon and sugar mixed in it.
These are similar and addicting sweet rolls like theirs.
This dough is very versatile, sweet to savory, it all depends on how you serve it.
I will give you some suggestions below that I do to change it up.
These made in the muffin tins are high enough where they are great sweet rolls for pulled pork and other sandwiches you like.
I have used them for tuna and egg salad also.
The recipe calls for rolling them cutting them in a rectangular shape and adding them in a pan just touching a little bit.
I do mine in cupcake tins and they came out perfect!
I always try to take the easy way out.
If you do them in a large baking pan, brush them with melted butter as soon as them come out.
Sometimes for a change I sprinkle Italian herbs and some parmesan cheese along with garlic powder on them for dinner.
You can even add chopped olives and herbs right into the dough for a more savory dough.
Seriously I love the taste of these rolls plain but they always served in a bowl of cinnamon sugared butter.
Then you slather it on and it melts and oozes all over the rolls.
Sometimes we eat so many, we are full before dinner.
These actually are delicious for breakfast.
Just split them open and broil them, they are best served warm!
They always come to the tables piping hot!

Serve these rolls warm.
Whip the(1/2 cup or more) butter then add a 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon and 1 tablespoon sugar to the butter and mix it together to taste (I like more cinnamon than sugar) Place the mixture of butter in a small serving dish and spread on warm rolls or eat the rolls plain.
