A simple pretty cookie to bake and add to your cookie tray. Perfect for gift giving and they taste great. A delicate cookie shaped like a bow with jam in the middle
ingredients:
- 1 cup butter
- 2 1/2 cups flour
- 1 egg
- Note: If you would prefer a cream cheese dough omit the egg above and add
- one 8- ounce package of cream cheese to this recipe that is the biggest difference.
- Assorted jams and fillings, pineapple, raspberry, apricot, blueberry, Nutella, almond paste ( whatever you like)
- Garnish: powdered sugar

How to cook Jam Filled Bow Tie Cookies
- Mix butter, flour, and egg to form the soft dough in a heavy mixer. This is easier to use if you refrigerate it for 20 minutes.
- Flour a board. Roll dough out. Cut with fluted edge circle cookie cutter. Fill with a little bit of the jam. Fold circle toward the center and pinch to form bows.
- Bake at 400 hot preheated oven until set. Around 10 to 15 minutes until slightly golden brown.
- Cool completely on wax paper or parchment paper. Sprinkle with powdered sugar.
