Being I am a huge fan of salsa, Italian and allergic to the onion vegetable family, I made an Italian style salsa we all love here with all garlic!
This is a dieters delight and has vitamins and perfect for the health conscious lifestyle.
Served with all fresh herbs and chopped vegetables, this will be great all summer long.
We love to serve this at a picnic and don't have to worry about all the creamy things in a dip that can spoil and get you sick in the hot summer heat.

You can add anything you like to your dipping salsa vegetable wise keeping it chunky.

Italian Salsa

These best summer dip and great for weight watchers. This dip is made with fresh vegetables and you can even use vegetables for a dip! The perfect salsa dip!
ingredients:
- 1 bell peppers any color or use hot peppers if you like them
- 2 Large Vine Ripe Tomatoes
- 2 Plum tomatoes
- 3 to 4 tablespoon olive oil and more if needed
- 2 cloves of Fresh Garlic Minced
- 2 tablespoons of Balsamic vinegar
- Dash of Salt and Pepper
- Dash of Cayenne Pepper
- 1 or more Fresh Basil Leaves
- a handful of fresh parsley
- Optional: add to the salsa 3 tablespoons or red wine vinegar if you prefer over balsamic you can also use 1/2 teaspoon of dried Italian seasoning for added flavors
- Additions to hand chop: chopped olives, chopped onion, chopped celery, chopped cucumbers, chopped avocado, chopped broccoli or cauliflower, chopped mozzarella bits, feta, chopped eggplant, chopped salami

How to cook Italian Salsa
- Place all the ingredients in a food processor, use the pulse method and pulse until the desired chunkiness you prefer.
- Any and all of the above ingredients can be chopped by hand also.
- if you don't have a food processor.
- Allow at least two hours in refrigerated until serving.
- To enhance even more flavor add some really good grade olive oil before serving around 2 tablespoons stir and enjoy!
- Serve with garlic bread, flavored crackers, sesame breadsticks, pita chips or tortilla chips
- You can also use fresh vegetables like cucumbers, carrot sticks, celery stalks.
