Chocolate and Peanut Butter the perfect pair!

I really love how easy this no bake, no cook candy is.

I highly recommend using butter, really good peanut butter, and superior brand chocolate to dip them in.

Dip the candies in white, dark or milk chocolate, use your favorite kind.

Sprinkle them with a color coordinating sugar for whatever themed holiday you're making them for. Now you have a perfectly delicious peanut butter candy everyone will love and it's not cooked!

These have always been more classified as Buckeyes. These are the same concept shaped into hearts for Valentine's Day, eggs for Easter and you can get as creative as you want. The dough is so easy to mold.

Quick Tip

I always refrigerate it for easy handling for around 30 minutes.

I either shape the dough by hand or use dollar store silicone molds for some shapes.

Either way, they come out yummy!

Easiest Candy to make ever!

I melt semi-sweet chocolate. You can use chocolate melts or dipping chocolate of any kind.

The easiest way without using a professional dipping spoon is using two forks.

When I melt the chocolate in the microwave I use 1-minute intervals, check it, stir and repeat until smooth.

Chocolate melts fast and you will burn it if you leave it in there too long. The old fashioned way is to use a double boiler.

Mom uses to do it that way. Water in the bottom of the pan and she would put a heatproof bowl that fits on top of the pan. Add the chocolate and wait until it was melted. Works great that way also.

This no-bake candy is such a fun treat and it's so darn easy!

These are great for gameday shaped into footballs, baby showers in white pastel colored dipped chocolate or any other occasions just leaving them in round shapes.

These Holiday Peanut Butter Chocolate Candy are the easiest candy to make for any Holiday and everyone loves them!

A Little More Special

When you make candy homemade, it sure shouts out you're someone special.

The best part about them is no one has to know how easy these are to make!

One last thing, I have also used almond butter instead of peanut butter.

If you have food allergies you can also try substituting with butter made from seeds like pumpkin or sunflower kinds of butter.

Here is a recipe you can try for Sunflower homemade butter:

Sunflower Seed Butter Recipe

6 cups raw sunflower seeds
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract

Put the sunflower seeds on a cookie sheet and toast in a preheated oven at 350 degrees for 20-25 minutes, stirring occasionally until
golden brown. Do not overbake them. Watch them carefully.

Sunflower seeds cook rapidly and burn easy.

Cool for a few minutes then out them into a food processor.

Pulse them for a total of 30 minutes, stopping every 2 to 3 minutes to scrape down the sides.

After about 20 minutes, the seeds should start releasing some of the oil they have and the butter get creamy.

Keep it running for another 5 to 10 minutes until really smooth and creamy.
Add the salt and vanilla extract and process for another minute

Use an old clean glass jar with a tight lid to store this butter. This lasts around 2 months in the pantry or freeze for 1 year.

ingredients:

  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1 cup graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • dark, milk, or white chocolate (use good grade chocolate) around 8 to 12 ounces

instructions:

  1. In a medium size, bowl, add the peanut butter and butter mixture together. Add the graham cracker crumbs then slowly add the powdered sugar to form a ball.
  2. Mold into Holiday themes, game day themes or any event you have. Place them on the parchment lined cookie sheet. I refrigerator them (as they are easier to dip in melted chocolate) for around 30 minutes.
  3. Melt the chocolate. Dip the candy into the melted chocolate using two forks. Place on the parchment paper and sprinkle with coordinating holiday-themed colors of sprinkles or sugars.
  4. Store in the refrigerator until set
