RAYA COOKIES OF THE DAY : ALMOND SQUARE
This is another cookies recipe that I took from RASA Selera Ramadan July issue. Yield about 60 cookies. It's crunchy with chocolate and white chocolate drizzles.
INGREDIENTS
250 gm butter / 250 gm mentega
200 gm confectioner's sugar / 200 gm gula ising
200 gm flour / 200 gm tepung gandum
160 gm cornflour / 160 gm tepung jagung
2 egg yolk / 2 biji telur merah
80 gm ground almond / 80 gm serbuk badan

white chocolate
- Cream butter and sugar. / Pukul mentega dan gula sehingga sebati.
- Beat egg yolks in, one at a time/ Masukkan telur satu persatu.
- Add remaining ingredients; mix well. / Masukkan semua bahan kering
- Roll dough and used square cookie cutter / Canai dan terap dengan acuan empat persegi.
- Place on an ungreased cookie sheet. /Letak dalam dulang pembakar
- Bake at 325 degrees for 12 to 15 minutes./ Bakar pada suhu 325 degree selama 12-15 minutes.
- Remove immediately from cookie sheet and cool./Angkat dan sejukkan
- While cookies cool melt both chocolate in double boiler and pour into pipping bag. Drizzle chocolate on cookies / Sementara cookie sejuk cairkan kedua-dua chocolate. Masukkan ke dalam pipping bag dan coretkan ke atas cookie mengikut citarasa anda.
